Motorists are at it again o!πŸ™„πŸ™„

Please o bail me out here. Am I the only ‘stranger in Israel?’ Has fuel price increased? Bus fares are on the rise!

Just like yesterday I boarded a bus going to Ikeja from Jibowu area of Lagos. I gave the conductor 200 naira, expecting 50 naira change. Alas he said he has none to give me. I thought it was a joke until I realised he was serious!

I had to ask the babe sitting next to me where she was headed and how much she paid. She responded warmly and gave me the info I required!

Now with the info I got, I was ready to get my balance from the conductor. He didn’t bulge. Even the driver supported him.

Simple, I refused to be a tout, I told him I was no longer going to Ikeja, Maryland is just fine for me. He was pained. He was so reluctant to give me my 100naira. Trust me, I collected it with finesse. Got down, strolled to the Mobil filling station on the other side and boarded another compact bus to Ikeja jejely at 50naira.

Same is happening today, this time it’s Ikorodu drivers/conductors.

Trust Lagosians, some entered as if they were not aware of the price change as the conductress kept shouting! They stretched out what they had while she kept throwing swear words at them.

Y’all know who usually wins this kind of word warπŸ˜€πŸ˜œ. Lagosians ain’t smiling oπŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»

Why do we like to hurt one another in the name of making profit?

take thought: Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. Ecclesiastes 5:10 #selah
