On my way to church early this morning, I saw FRSC officials lined up some vehicles for their usual routine checks. Then I thought, ‘it’s a Sunday morning, why would they keep disturbing people going to their place of worship (this has become a usual practice on their part)?’
Almost immediately, I dismissed the thought. Come to think of it, when we also encounter them on weekdays, we’d say they are ‘adaniduro d’onigbeses’ (who won’t allow us breath, lol).
So I wondered, what time and day exactly is right for this government agency to carry out its lawful duties?
Well, this is not to down play the fact that some of them work just for their pockets. However, I believe we are able to withstand their shenanigans only when we remain on the right side of the law.
It therefore will not bother us if they decide to be on the roads all the days of their lives!😜
Mo wiire abi mo o wiire?
