Can anyone please tell me the science or rationale behind the act of some transporters, especially okada (bike) riders? The fare they charge when taking one from a major bus stop into a particular street is usually different from the fare collected when taking one from that same street back to the bus stop. I took a bike from Benson bus stop at Ikorodu to a street and paid 100 naira, but when coming back to that same bus stop, I paid half the price.#raisedbrows. This act of theirs keep amusing me every time I encounter such, and I keep wondering, is it not the same distance to and fro? Why then do they do so? Does this happen at your end too?
